Step into Recharge XL, the latest installation by Dries Depoorter. A place where relaxation meets technology, and where charging your phone requires more than just plugging in—it requires you to pause. Quite literally.

Take a seat in one of the specially designed chairs and let go of the urge to scroll. Your phone will only charge when your eyes are closed. The moment you embrace rest, your battery fills up—both digitally and personally.

Recharge comes in two sizes: a cozy one-person version for solo moments of zen, and an XL version that accommodates up to 40 people, turning stillness into a shared experience.

This unique installation is free to visit at the Wintercircus Arena from April 14 to 22. But on Tuesday, April 22, we invite you to an exclusive talk with Dries Depoorter, diving into the ideas behind the installation and his creative process.
