In I Remember // Moving Monoliths duikt PlayField in de mysterieuze en complexe wereld van het menselijk geheugen. Vier performers brengen persoonlijke verhalen en perspectieven tot leven. Herinneringen worden gedeeld en verweven in een fascinerend web van vertellingen.

• Hoe gemakkelijk kan ons geheugen worden beïnvloed?
• Hoe verbinden herinneringen ons als mensen?
• En in hoeverre zijn onze herinneringen betrouwbaar?

Met een ingenieus decorontwerp en een slim spel tussen nostalgie en confrontatie neemt I Remember je mee op een filosofische reis door ons persoonlijke en collectieve geheugen, waarbij zowel de verbindende als de tegenstrijdige aard van herinneringen wordt onthuld. Dit boeiende onderzoek onderzoekt de verhalen die we koesteren, delen en achterlaten.

Als resident creator bij GUM & Plantentuin herwerkte PlayField hun oorspronkelijke productie uit 2021 in het licht van de tentoonstelling Wonderkamer van de WAARheid. Deze tentoonstelling onthult alles over waarheid: Bestaat absolute zekerheid? Wat is de rol van wetenschap en kunst in deze zoektocht? En vertelt een museum altijd de waarheid?

Bij aankoop van een ticket voor de voorstelling, krijg je ook een gratis museumbezoek aan GUM en de expo WAARHEID. Dit toegangsticket ontvang je bij aanvang van de voorstelling.

In I Remember // Moving Monoliths, PlayField delves into the mysterious and intricate world of human memory. Four performers bring personal stories and perspectives to life. Memories are shared and woven into a fascinating web of narratives.

• How easily can our memory be influenced?
• How do memories connect us as humans?
• And to what extent are our memories reliable?

With an ingenious set design and a clever interplay between nostalgia and confrontation, I Remember takes you on a philosophical journey through our personal and collective memory, revealing both the unifying and conflicting nature of memories. This compelling exploration examines the stories we cherish, share, and leave behind.

As a resident creator at GUM & Botanical Garden, PlayField reworked their original 2021 production in light of the Wonderkamer van de WAARheid exhibition. This exhibition uncovers everything about truth: Does absolute certainty exist? What is the role of science and art in this search? And does a museum always tell the truth?

When you purchase a ticket for the performance, you also get free access to the GUM museum and the WAARHEID exhibition. You will receive your entry ticket at the start of the performance.
